Driven to Give Auto Show

Decatur, Alabama, June 26th, 2025 — This exciting community event, proudly presented by our partnering sponsor Lynn Layton, will bring together car enthusiasts, families, and local businesses for a day full of horsepower, heart, and hometown pride. The event will feature a wide variety of vehicles, a silent auction, door prizes, and opportunities to give back to the community.

EVENT DETAILS

Location: Morgan County-Decatur Farmers Market and Decatur Daily lots (201 & 211 1st Avenue SE, Decatur, AL)
Dates: Saturday, September 27, 2025
Time: 2:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Admission: Free to the Public (Donations Appreciated)

The purpose of this event is to engage the community, including individuals and businesses, to help us stock up local non-profits and other community food pantries with non-perishable foods. We also plan to provide monetary donations to various organizations throughout the community through our fundraising efforts, and also fund club projects.

Auto Show: Featuring classic, custom, and collector vehicles
Live Music: Enjoy high-energy performances by the Tres Locos Band
Tire Changing Contest: Test your speed and skill in this fun, hands-on challenge
Kids Zone: A fun and safe space for children to play, explore, and enjoy the event
Food Trucks: Savor delicious eats from a variety of local favorites
Silent Auction: Bid on gift baskets, services, experiences, and more
Door Prizes: Given out throughout the day to attendees
Food Drive: Bring non-perishable items to support local food pantries.
Vendor Booths: Local businesses and artisans on-site
Community Impact: All proceeds benefit local nonprofits and Rotary service projects

As part of this fun-filled community event, we will be hosting a Silent Auction — and we’re currently seeking donations of auction items from generous local businesses and individuals like you!

All donors will be recognized at the event, on social media, and in promotional materials. It’s a great way to support the community and promote your business! Thank you for helping us drive change—one donation at a time!

Charity Impact:

All proceeds from the Driven to Give Auto Show will directly support the local and international service initiatives of the Decatur Daybreak Rotary Club. These include stocking food pantries with much-needed non-perishable items, providing financial support to local nonprofits, and funding impactful community projects throughout the year. Additionally, funds raised will help support Rotary’s global efforts in areas such as clean water access, education, and disease prevention. By attending, donating, or sponsoring, you’re not just enjoying a day of fun—you’re helping us drive meaningful change in Decatur and beyond.
